Sprout Sprite Bodies

⤷ Body sizes

Sprout Sprites can have any body type, just like humans! Round and soft, thin and lanky, super buff, delicate and flow-y, or anything else you’d like!

⤷ Height

Fully grown Sprout Sprites range in height from 3.3in to 5in (8.3cm to 12.7cm)… Sprout Sprites have been seen to grow as much as 13 times their natural height, or 13 times shorter, while under the effects of [magical] items and foods.

Sprout Sprites can be anywhere from human-sized to smaller than a penny! When creating content based on your Sprout Sprite you can create tons of fun scenery and backgrounds with this in mind!

Sprouts

Sprouts typically vary from one to five leaves and – in adults – may include a bloom or two, with two blooms being a rare trait, similar to red hair in humans.

You can use pretty much any leafy plant as your Sprout Sprite’s sprout! You may want to consider things like climate, personality, age, and magical abilities if your Sprout Sprite has them. If your Sprout Sprite is an adult, you can opt to include a bloom (flower) or not!

“Hair”

⤷ “Hair” types

Although Sprout Sprites don’t grow hair like humans do, they experience growth on their heads which they can style and trim for fun and cleanliness.

Your Sprout Sprite can have any “hair” style, ideally one that is compatible with a plant-like texture! Curly, wavy, kinky, straight, any hair type can be represented in your Sprout Sprite’s design.

It’s recommended to look around for inspiration images of plants that best represent the vibe you would like for your design to help with this step!

⤷ “Hair” colors

Sprout Sprites have very little interest in coloring their “hair”. They prefer to blend into the Enchanted Forest’s scenery and feel that adding coloring would take away from their ability to be inconspicuous.

Wanting your Sprout Sprite to have different shades of green in their “hair”, or maybe splashes of color? While fancy colors aren’t often seen in Sprout Sprites – since they like to blend in with their surroundings – that doesn’t mean you can’t get as creative as you want with your design! This is your Sprite Sprout. Go wild!

Shades of green

Any shade of green is 100% accurate to the official Sprout Sprite anatomy and design! Warm undertones, cool undertones, blue undertones, yellow undertones, or just pure green-green are all great choices for Sprout Sprites!

Wings on adults

Adult Spout Sprites have bioluminescent wings! They can come in any size, however they are never feather-type wings. These sprites have net-lace wings, most similar to insects. They can have 1-3 sets.

Ears, noses, and other details

Sprout Sprites are very human-like for most aspects of their design. They have noses, two eyes, five fingers and five toes. You’ll want to omit ears, which they are confirmed to not have. Alternatively, do whatever you like and create something entirely new! Again, this is your creation so feel free to add your own things if you’d like.
