HSRC’s Mission
Ensure that every homeschooler has somewhere safe to feel supported and find help.
We engage our community with fun events, ranging from free game nights to monthly art challenges. Our platform empowers users to reach out to others with similar interests and hobbies to ensure opportunities for budding friendships to grow, thanks to the unique activities we organize for our user base.
The Homeschooler’s Chat was created in 2014 with one key goal: ensure that every homeschooling teen has somewhere safe to feel included. Now, a decade later, we proudly assist new and long-time homeschoolers in gaining contact with their peers and developing friendships through healthy community culture and fun events in our Discord server, the largest community for homeschooling students on Discord.
Our list of completely free online educational resources helps our community excel academically, regardless of their homeschooling budget, family income, or skill level. This list is constantly being updated as we find new resources to share with the HSRC community. Thank you to our community for making this incredible list possible.
Events & Happenings

Join free, bi-weekly community game nights for everyone to enjoy. We play games that help our users interact easily and grow friendships, focusing on games that require group cooperation to win! Our game nights are completely free for everyone to enjoy.
Take part in monthly art challenges with a brand new surprise prompt each month, regardless of skill level! Even our server’s icon – the face of our community – is designed and selected by our users for each season.
Stay on track academically with support from fellow students! We offer a quiet study space so our users can stay focused on school and hold each other accountable while studying.
Accessible Learning
We’re passionate about helping homeschoolers find affordable and accessible resources for learning at home.
Thanks to our dedicated community, we have been able to compile a wide range of completely free online resources for learning. These tools cover everything from math to language skills. Check them out here!
Despite being founded in the United States, we don’t limit our educational resources to only US-based learning systems. With enormous help from our international community, we’ve been able to provide this list of GCSE resources for those doing GCSEs, iGCSEs, and even A-Levels.
