When are game nights?

Game nights happen on the 1st Saturday of every month at 3pm EDT in The Homeschooler’s Chat Discord Server’s Game Together voice chat channel. These events last anywhere from 1-3 hours from the start time. Users can choose whether they prefer to use their microphone or stay muted. Either way, everyone can join in the conversation by using the text chat!

Which games are played?

Depending on the week, we play Among Us, Jackbox, Stumble Guys, Gartic Phone, Roblox, Skribbl.io, Jigsaw Explorer, Draw Battle, Song Trivia, and more! We’re always taking new suggestions for fun games, so long as they’re free and accessible to all.

All of the games we play are FREE, appropriate for our group, and playable on both PC and mobile. Our goal is to ensure that no one is left out of these exciting events. For this reason, you never have to worry about there being a cost involved. Whether you’re working with just your mobile phone or you have a whole gaming PC setup, these game nights will be within your reach.

Gartic Phone

This prompt-and-draw activity is just like the classic game of telephone. PLayers provide silly or creative prompts, then fellow users attempt to draw them. Once drawing is complete, participants give new titles to the drawings. Those guesses become fresh prompts, and the cycle repeats. The best part: players have no idea what the original prompt was until the end of each round, when a timelapse of each prompt and drawing sequence is shown to the group.

Things to know:
  • FREE to play
  • Web-based
  • Private lobbies
  • No chat feature
  • Playable on mobile and PC
  • No mature content, all prompts are user-generated
